All About Dawn
A wonder with the pen.
Dawn Allen is a professor and workshop presenter, an active member of Sisters in Crime, Tornado Alley SinC, and Mystery Writers of America. Her stories have appeared in Soft Whispers; A Fly in Amber; and articles with First Opinions, Second Reactions. Her short story, Taking Out the Trash, is in an anthology of revenge stories, Don’t Tread on Me. She holds an MFA in Writing from the University of Nebraska. She’s written and directed vignettes and plays for church services for over a decade as well as directing church services.
She can’t cook, but she had the good sense to marry a man who can. One son lives in Oklahoma and one in Oregon, and she’s proud of them every day for being good human beings and working hard. She and her husband have horses and recently relocated so they can enjoy them every day. Life is never dull. Her parents were among her biggest writing supporters. Unfortunately (for them), they also provided her with a lot of fodder for her stories.
